it really fascinates me, that in finnish, there's only one word for heaven and sky. it's taivas. it's a sky and a heaven. and it's such a beautiful word. every language should have only one word for heaven and sky. because you can't tell a sky from a heaven. or a heaven from a sky. at least i can't.

In Greek, that one word is ouranos. The home of the gods; the "upper aether"; the place the soul escapes to. I agree with you entirely.

I suppose that all depends on whether you pronounce it correctly, or are deliberately immature.

That is one of the few words i know in Greek, but it always seemed to get the sky just right, its vast and empty space. (Plus, it sounds nothing like anus, whoever that silly person is).
