On a MUCH happier note, Alex read a whole book to me by himself with very little help on my part (only with some of the bigger words). My mom just called, she wanted to let me know that my Uncle G.W. passed away late last night. He had been battling cancer and hadn't been doing too good. Life is short folks... work is not important...money is not important if you are able to have a roof over your head and food on the table... your family...your friends.... *they* are important. Plopped a new LJ into my 'friends' page... Wicked_Wish. It is the authoress Cherie Priest. I met her at DragonCon this past year. She was on a panel discussing the influences of southern culture in gothic fiction.
