[Crystal, filtered to Mitsunari, requires tarot to hack]

I am telling you this first so that we can prepare for the worst if my warnings fall on deaf ears. This is a plot to taint a Chaodan village grain's with foul necromancy. According to the plotters it will turn them undead.

I will be speaking with Prince Arthas next.

Chaodan? That's a little close for comfort. Is this one of those things you've forseen, or is there evidence I could pass to the king of Shu? Not that it's likely to do much good...

I witness it personally, but I was unable to get close enough to obtain physical evidence since one of the two is that damn Lich - Foolish as he acts on the crystals, his power is immense, and the other man is a complete unknown.

[He sighs]

So we're dealing with an immensely powerful undead necromancer, and an unknown factor. Wonderful. And these men... could they be responsible for the undead outbreak in Zeon and Amestris as well?

I can't ask you to get any closer to these people - in fact, if they're as dangerous as you say, I order you not to make yourself known to them! What defenses do we have against necromancers? I knew of at least one in the Imperial Guard when I served the Emperor, but I'm a little ill at ease with magic at the best of times...

It is likely that the hooded man is involved, if the Lich was he would have announced it already.

As for our defenses - I hate to admit this, but the Church has been training competent warriors against Rift-born threats, The Knight of Hope and his Holy Order, The Hellsings, and Cardinal Rao herself has great spiritual powers, but we cannot be completely certain if they will be able to spare their resources.

As for our own - killing them is a matter of destroying their bodies - if the threat comes to Sawa, I suggest pulling citizens into towns and cities that have good walls and employ counter-siege tactics, so build up stores for that worst possibility.

But as that I am no warrior, you may wish to ask another.

Let's hear it, then. What's going on?

Though they are unable to obtain solid evidence due to the conspirators' power, my man had seen a hooded man and the Lich Xykon plotting to turn a Chaodan village into the undead with tainted wheat.

To think that anyone could stoop so low...

I'll send... no, I'll go there myself. Do you have any idea who that hooded man might be?

I am afraid not but my men are certain that he is a powerful necromancer. Is there something I can do to assist Your Royal Highness?
