I require a bit of iron ore - I believe a search point may be found in a cave to the west. I've not yet explored it, but I don't think it should be much of a challenge.

I'm fairly certain, too, that I may synthesize a new weapon at a shop somewhere in the Square.

Would anyone care to join me? Even I am not so foolish to explore the area myself.
