Class act, isn't it?

Aw, poor Mr. Method had his groove interrupted! You know, I've enjoyed some of his movies, but that temper tantrum was really awful. It explains why he's not a bigger star despite some good performances - no one wants to work with that.

I think he hates the fact that Heath Ledger stole his thunder in TDK. You can sense that it kills him.

I have never been able to put my finger on it, but there has always been something unsettling about him- call it a vibe, impression, or whatever- that has been a serious turn off for me. Let's just say he'd be the reason I would pass on a film rather than see it. That's a shame, because I have seen "Empire of the Sun" and thought he was quite good at a very young age.

To do that kind of work as a child indicates he's intelligent and talented. It's a shame he doesn't have the personality or character of the same level.

This is so the opposite of a class act- or even decent and professional behavior. How about that Golden Rule, huh?

I never liked him. He is one of those actors which, whenever i see them, i think: Ben is more talented, this is unfair.

ITA that C.B. is one I avoid, and also one I just have to shake my head at and wonder how he's repeatedly offered- and given- roles when there are so many with talent, a work ethic, and professional and personal standards. Ben would certainly be in that group. With so few viable and decent projects of a certain caliber, and fewer roles, every criteria should count and be met.

Bale, apparently, has to be connected enough to be in the position to prove that he's a real liability to offset the positives. With budgets and financing being all the more precarious, that might be more of a consideration. No one wants that kind of volatile work environment. Still, life, obviously, is so not fair!

How have you been? I hope you've come to terms with some sort of comfort zone with the sort of new job. How's the new car?

Thanks for asking. I'm busy and trying juggle and sort out the usual messes.
