Three months after the American people chose hope and progress, the people of my country chose fear and regress. I can't even begin to describe how depressed i am tonight.

I'm so sorry for you- and I mean that in the singular and plural sense. It's the sort of incredulous frustration, disappointment and disillusionment I felt in 2000 and 2004.

I guess we can only hope for wisdom, common sense, and compassion to prevail.

Thank you, Beach. I know you know how i feel. We knew it was coming, The war in Gaza took people way-way to the right, but actually seeing the results last night, just broke my heart to pieces.

It's that futility and powerlessness that makes it so much worse. I know, you just want to scream or shake some sense into people, but...
