Vacation was... interesting. I wasn't afforded as much time for writing as I was hoping for, and I seem to have come to a great white wall of writer's block whenever I attempt to write this next chapter.

So I'll be away for a week for the much dreaded/ much anticipated Family Vacation. In my experience, any extended period of time spent with my family isn't much of a vacation (unless you consider a lot of tension and snipping a vacation, and I don't). This week has been utterly chaotic. I go for a couple months without seeing any of my old friends from school, and now they're all here for a tournament. So last night a fence broke somehow and four of the horses got loose... on the road. Fortunately, none of them were hurt, but the wee hours of the morning were spent chasing horses down and scouring the whole field to make sure none of the others got out. Well, I finally got myself one of these. Let's just see how I keep up with it.

I've started a new story, which it seems will keep me busy for a while. It isn't really anything like Darkest and there isn't much to it, yet, but I like the feel it has so far.
