So the optimist in me was like, "Sure, I can post a couple of times a week! No problem!"

Now the realist in me is like, "Wtf, it's been almost 20 days and I have to make ANOTHER post? Jesus."

I really have nothing to report from a writing standpoint.

That's an interesting idea regarding writing speech. I can see how it would work at times, although equally it could also prove distracting depending on the sort of conversation. I try not to use "Said X, Said Y" too much, but do find it hard when it's a three way conversation and it's important to know who said what.

That's also a really good point! Yes, it's really important to know who's talking when you have multiple people in conversation :)
