I cannot believe how beautiful those are! I've never seen anything like them, with those pretty little spots. What kind are they?

I, too, am counting down to the end of the year. 2008 wasn't nearly as bad as 2007, but I'm looking forward to the fresh start. I hope you're doing well, J. I've been wondering about you lately.

I hadn't either. I'm not sure what kind they are but I'm planning another visit in May when they are all in bloom so I can check for you then. ;)

2008 has been shit from the get-go for me. I hate to put so much stock in stupid shit like "the new year" but I cannot wait for it to come around. And thank you - I'm hanging in there. <3
