This is fun. I've known more than one actor who stayed in accent or character (or both) over coffee/dinner breaks, they always brought back some fascinating stories.

It's like a '40s radio voice, "adventure is out there!" sort of thing. :)

I have a whole range of radio/audiobook type voices that I mostly use for joking around now, since I no longer read stories out loud to my kids...

One of my favorites is the cheesy, avuncular, male voice you usually hear on ads where someone's trying to get you excited about something like a Presidents' Day car sale. Or its slightly raspier version used for things like, "It's the Sacramento Speeeeedway!"
