as promised to schnee, this is gerry on patrol. he sits here making dog smoochie nose marks on the windows and waits. should one of the neighbours move, the postie go past, the wind blow, the rain fall, the birds sit in the trees he lets out a warning woof.

it amuses me he sits on his bottom not his haunches and his back legs cross.

the vision of safeness would be far better if he didn't pee himself when anyone challenged him.

IT!WALKED!PAST!THE!GATE!!!! Gerry was v. annoyed at that because it stopped and looked in at the french doors where he was sitting. If only he knew how to work the cat door. Poor wee thing can't understand the mystic portal that makes cats appear and disappear.

I've never had a dog who sat like that before. We have been trying to reinforce sitting on command but that is going to have some work.

That was one of the few things my dog would do on command. Unless of course there was someone walking by the window, or a squirrel, or a leaf falling... He was easily distracted, hehe.
