I haven't forgotten about you. You're just never in the same places I am at the same time I am. I was in the common room tonight when the rest of you lot were spearminting yourselves. It was kind of lonely.

Oh.

I mean, good. I don't mean to act like a bloody GIRL about it, but like you said, we're never in the same place at the same time, and we should be. More often, I mean.

I'm sorry you were lonely. The meeting was good, but I hate spearmint, and Bill Weasley sure likes to listen to the sound of his own voice.

We are the best house, Ernie. We take care of our friends and love them dearly. There's a real sense of trust between us all.

And please, don't feel so down. If you'd like we can talk at lunch. I will always listen.

Thanks, Susan. You're one of the best parts of Hufflepuff, you know.

I'll just be waiting impatiently here for my fudge.

If you'd like we could study together. I always find that studying is much more pleasant when you do it in the company of someone else, even if you're just reading around them, not talking to them.

Harry and Ron don't seem to appreciate this - whenever they start studying together it's sure to degenerate into a Quidditch match within seconds. They're no use in that regard. Perhaps Padma would like to come too. We could be an inter-house sustained silent reading club!

I'd like that, Hermione. I've never tried studying alongside another person for any length of time, but I'm certainly willing to try it.
