Every time I watch a 90s music video on youtube, I'm bound to come across a comment of someone waxing lyrical for that time of grunge/alternative music and Generation X jadedness. A boyfriend cut is an oversized fit - looking like you borrowed it from your boyfriend is the goal. :)

YES Winona's outfit in the gas station scene is THE BEST. I love that sleeveles red top. OTOH, I watched Reality Bites again recently and I realized, ew, Winona's wrinkled / ill-fitting clothes (except for the Doily Dress) aren't that cute after all. Why did I aspire to that?!

Ohh. I think I must re-watch this. I can only remember three outfits - this one at the gas station, the doily dress and a maxi baby doll dress. Haha.
