My HSBC credit card points were about to expire and since I've been drooling over Zara's stuff lately I decided to get a voucher from them. I was initially in the market for a bag and I found a cute sling bag at the Zara website. Saw the bag in-store but wasn't terribly impressed. For those in the Northern Hemisphere, this signals the end of summer. For us Filipinos, this means the welcoming of the "-ber" months.
I am diligent this year and already booked my flight home while the plane fares are still reasonably priced.

We enjoyed 2 extra days off (Presidential elections on Monday and Hari Raya on Tuesday). The weather was pretty good too - overcast and cool. Perfect for days when the only items on your to-do list are movies and sushi dinner.
