Name: whatever their master names them, Pim when off duty
Age: thousands of years old, physically mid teens
Appearance: dark brown eyes, brown hair, five foot four
Pim isn’t very high on the totem pole of Hell. Being an imp does that to a hellish demonic being. Demons order them around, witches and wizards and who knows what else use them as familiars and get them to do all their dirty work. Sure it can be fun, on ocassion, but nobody ever says “Thank you.” Manners aren’t important in the world of demons.
For the first time in a very long time Pim doesn’t have a master or task to do. They’re free to cause whatever mischief they want. There are no rules, they are their own master! For now. It’s only a matter of time before some demon gives them a mundane job or a human ropes them into a contract that they really should resist, but never do.
Currently they are trying to locate their previous body, find their magical cat and figure out just who killed them.
Lineage: You don't live this long and not produce some offspring. Pim has fathered and mothered children over the centuries, either by accident or on purpose, organically or through some freaky demon ritual. (Too many demons want to give the world the next antichrist. It never works out.) Pim wouldn't mind meeting some of their offspring, human and part demon alike, but they've got not way of finding them at the moment.
Personality: Pim likes mischief and trickery. They’re not inherently bad but their moral compass is rather skewed. They find human laws and societal restrictions odd and annoying and frustrating and they’re always tempted to break them. Pim is a lonely creature and would love nothing more than to have a friend or two but they have trouble maintaining friendships as they’re always lying and playing tricks, most people become tired of them before any real bonds can be formed.
They are extremely childish and fight just for the sake of fighting. They'll poke and prod and annoy, even when someone clearly outranks them, and generally they don't respect anyone until they're put in their place. Once respect is earned, however, Pim will generally adore and latch onto the poor soul that's managed to impress them.
Powers:
-item conjuration (They can't make items out of thin air, whatever item they conjure has to come from someplace else.)
-teleportation (Limited, they can blink across a room easily enough but for greater distances they need an anchor to latch onto. Their anchor is most likely a magical charm or magical being, if Pim is given permission to do so.)
-immortality (Pim can't die, their body can withstand more than what a human body could, they can heal if given time and energy. If their body is destroyed they hang out in Hell for a while before they are able to acquire a new body.)
-sense (They can sense other magical beings, unless cloaked. They can also sense nearby trouble, chaos and impending danger.)
-magical sponge (If working under a demon, and given permission, they are able to tap into whatever powers that demon has. )
Pim's power is not infinite. They acquire their power through chaotic environments and troubling emotional states.
Abilities:
-stealth and thievery (They've had a long time to perfect this, and even without supernatural powers, Pim would make a formidable burglar.)
On gender identity: Pim does not identify as being a girl or a boy.
Magic permissions:
If you can sense magical powers then you can sense that Pim has some sort of demonic power, but not a whole lot.
Aura wise, Pim comes across as fairly neutral though mischievous with the faint hint of trouble.
If you can read thoughts, you’ll get a bunch of demonic language inside Pim’s head.
If you’re a demon (or half demon, perhaps even quarter demon) you’ll have no trouble overpowering Pim. If you command them to do something they will do it 99% of the time.
The average witch or warlock can command Pim as well though they may be more reluctant, depending on how they’re asked and what they’re asked to do. They may try to get out of it but if forced there’s nothing they can really do about it.
Other supernatural beings are a case by case basis. As a general rule if you can command magic in some form or another you can employ Pim to be your minion.
A human could potentially command Pim, if they go through a summoning ceremony or ritual of some sort, but people generally don’t waste all that time on imps. That sort of effort is normally used for demons and other beings.
