They never want us to stop seeing ads or thinking about their company/product/service.

Ads are sleazy and I make it a point of only buying products who's advertisements amuse me greatly, like a good American capitalist consumer. Hooray beer!

Side note: I recently wrote a congressman expressing my wishes that he draft and pass legislation limiting television commercials to one commercial per product per thirty minutes. I think everyone can agree on this one; how many people are tuning in halfway through a show, let alone halfway through a commercial break?
