Bedbugs.

Personally, I feel that this is unacceptable.

That would explain why I wake up every day with two new bug bites.
But, I need a new mattress anyway

Unacceptable in what sense? Surely such creatures have a right to attempt to live, regardless of the annoyance they cause humans. Your past espoused morals regarding the rights of animals would lead to this conclusion as well.

it's unacceptable that we are allowing them to spiral out of control in population. i don't care if household pests live or die, kyle. if they are going to encroach on my way of life, i have no regard for theirs.

What if a cow is encroaching on my life? Do I have the right to kill and eat it, from your standpoint?

Whether or not an animal is irritating or inconveniencing you has no relevant bearing on you deciding whether or not it should live or die. Unless, of course, you're admitting that your previous logic was simply subjective bullshit.

Yeah, it fucking does. I was a vegetarian because I didn't think it was necessary to put animals through, let's be honest, torture, simply for our own personal gain.

The issue is completely seperate from bugs who live in our beds and feed on our blood, causing us great pain and discomfort, not to mention spreading diseases that could potentially kill us.
