I can't remember if I mentioned this when I 'came back' to LJ, but I turned my old roommates's room into a work/crafting room. I started learning to make a lot of different things at home, primarily perfume as an interest, but also hand lotion, shampoo, various other bath products, and soap ( Read more... )

Your craft area looks AMAZING. I'm kind of jealous. Everything is so organized. I love it.

Are you still doing perfumes? I seem to recall you doing some DA ones a while back.

:D;; the organization there makes up for the rest of the house.

Yep, I'm still doing perfumes. I'm kind of stumped on what sort to make at the moment, though.

:D It only takes one room to start.

Have you already made Dragon's Dogma ones?

Nope, I haven't done anything for DD yet. Most of the NPCs are fairly nondescript but there's a handful of good major ones.

Though I'm not sure what I'd have to include to make eau d'asshole for Julien. XD

Oooh, that room looks so cool!*_*

I've been harbouring this fantasy where i turn a spare room - if i ever had one which is very unlikely, unless i win the lottery - into a studio where i paint huge, colourful, most likely...abstract paintings and pretend to be a cool artiste~. Not that i could paint to save my life...but hey, it's a dream...XD

Anyway, i'd love to test things out for you, but i'm one of those overseas people unfortunately, so shipping would probably cost an arm and a leg...

They just jacked up all the postage rates so its about $6 for an overseas package under a pound. Ridiculous for one tiny sample but not bad if I was sending a packet of a dozen.

Mostly the delivery time and lack of reliability is the bigger problem :( waiting three weeks to find out if someone likes a test sample (or worse, that they never got it) is hard if you're trying to come up with a product to sell.

Your craft room is awesome. :D So neat and organized, unlike mine which has stuff still in cardboard boxes and equipment sitting on the floor lol. My mother has partially taken over my room for her projects, but I think I have too much stuff in there for her to use the space well.
