It's funny, I've read all of your already read, but only one of your to-read. And the one I've read is Catcher in the Rye, which is hardly obscure. Though I did start Eat,Pray,Love. It annoyed me.
Also, hello! I have not formally introduced myself. My name is Sophia, I'm eighteen, and I live in America (I don't really consider myself American). We both like Dr. Horrible, Johnny Depp, and the environment. *waves hello*
Cool stuff! you've probably read all the stuff i've read this year because i read them mostly for school. I'm doing English Literature and Theatre Studies and Drama as two of my four subjects for my A Levels, and well, they're pretty much things we've got to read for that:)
i've got some of the most wonderful books at home, it's such a pity i never get around to really reading them one by one. but i shall get through it slowly! (well i have actually read the stuff that's cancelled out too, so yeah)
Hello! I'm Roshni and i'm also 18 (yay for being 18) well, if you've seen my "about me" post which is long and rambly you'll know a LOT more about me but those three things are as good as any reason for us to be friends! *waves and gives you chocolate* because other than music, chocolate is the food of the world!
Oh, cool! My readings aren't nearly so interesting. You may know this already, but the American educational system is based a lot more on breadth than depth (though I'm taking six AP classes, which are basically college classes taken in high school, so I get both.) Granted, AP English Literature includes lots of reading, but sadly none of the books on your list. :(
Oh, I know what you mean. I have two giant sacks of books from library sales just begging to be read, but I never have time for them anymore. See above about the six college-level classes.
Roshni is a lovely name! I've not seen your "about me" post, only the description on your profile, but I will gladly read the post if you link me to it. And yay for chocolate! *gratefully gobbles Internet chocolate*
thanks! it means light in Hindi! Here's my about me post! it's actually linked in my little topbar thingy at the end of the little paragraph about me! between my barney icon and the links.
