I always wondered how much of the actual instrumentals Ryan wrote on the first...I mean, obviously, a lot of them, because they had songs before they had a Brendon (I think?), but...how much? I've also always been curious as to whether Spencer helps in the writing process, other than doing drums...ack. None of the songs will feel right without Ryan ( Read more... )

I had every intention of getting to bed early tonight, then my 3 year old daughter fell out of bed and hit her head on her nightstand. Now I am up for at least another hour to be sure she is ok. Good times, good times. I'm a night person, but I TRY to get to bed at a decent hour when I have to get up at 6 am ( ... )

Back to the interview again, as I sort of got ahead of myself upcomment a little ways. Yes, clearly it was deliberate that they weren’t talking to each other. I think they were just avoiding the inevitable. It also sounds like Ryan and Brendon were butting heads a bit prior to the silence. I know this is nothing new, as much has been said in interviews, but I guess I always just thought it was temporary. And it probably was, but as they got older, these differences in opinion and the desire to do what they wanted to do, it probably became a much bigger issue. I try not to judge what their girlfriends do or say, it just doesn't work. I think that, if epopelwhad any idea who I was, I would probably have issues with saying anything about my own life. I just don't think that anybody really cares. This is why there are pretty much no posts on my journal; I have an old, no longer used account, in which I posted lots of terrible poetry, as one does, but I didn't think anyone gave a fuck, and so I figured I would start over, and maybe try to make myself someone other than the kid with the poetry, at least online? If and when I get some decent writing and art up, I'll post that. I just don't see the point in forcing people to read about my private life. And wow, that had nothing to do with miss Keltie Colleen at all ( ... )
