Just got back from Davis Summer advising and it went just swell. That's not saying I didn't want to come home while I was up there, but I think that I'm going to have an amazing time in college. I leave for UC Davis tomorrow (today). I was a lot more nervous than I am now, thanks to the help of Noelle, but I'm still a little anxious. We'll see how things go.

Well today was pretty amazing. I decided I was tired of being melancholy in the middle of the day and things just kept getting better. Just got back from my backpacking trip with my Dad, his work friend Scott and his son Andrew. We figured it was our 13th and last trip. It was just like any other trip, lots of great food, a tad bit of alchohol, and plenty of frustrating card games.

Not really much to report. School doesn't make me quite as happy as it used to, work is very enjoyable, and life is pretty smooth. Sometimes I miss the bumps. A lot of the time I miss the bumps.

Ball was fabulous. I had absolutely no expectations (except that Sarah would look exceptional, and she didn't let me down), so I had a very good time.

And I really enjoy work. I like the people, I like the scooping, and I even enjoy the difficult customers. Because its just funny when people get so upset over some melted ice cream.

Well today was my first day of work at Ghiradelli's. Danielle Chiavetta was working there and was an absolute godsend, I don't know what I would have done without her. So yea, it went swell. Made a couple milshakes, several hot fudge Sundaes, and did some dishes. I can do this, piece o' cake.

So I had my job interview today and I have to say it went quite well. I'm not 100% sure I have the job, but there's a good chance you may see me scoopin' ice cream at Ghiradelli's soon. Except they need a drug test and I was too late to get it today so I have to wait until Monday ( Read more... )
