LoL, having it turned the way it's supposed to be made it hard for me to look at because I couldn't tell just what I was seeing. Anyway, looking at it this way looks like you're seeing the baby face to face. Like you would if you were holding it straight out in front of you to admire it or something.
The "face" looks like a skull (how appropriate! Halloween is this month!) to me. I guess that that's what it is, though, because ultrasounds don't really pick up skin. Just the hard things.
I guess that ultrasounds are cool to people who have/are having a baby 'cause they know what the picture is, hehe. I want to definitely send you something so I'm pretty sure that you should give me your address.
Yeah, they're cool now, but whenever I saw them before I always thought, "Uhm... okay... what am I looking at?"
For this one, though, I pretty much had to figure it out on my own. The doctor didn't say much at all during the ultrasound, and when he tossed the picture at me from across his desk, he only said, "That's the head, believe it or not." He didn't point anything out, you know, like, "Those are the eyes..." I wasn't too happy about that.
My address is below, and I'll definitely need yours, too. Leslie Dunham 2301 S. Irby St. Apt. C Florence, SC 29505
Have you tried those old wives tales about finding out what the gender is? You know: if you're wide it's a girl but if you're pushing far out, it's a boy? Plus the pendulum thing? :p That'd be fun...
Noooooope, I'm definitely not big enough yet to be able to tell by looking what exactly it is. What's the pendulum thing? I've never heard about that. My dad mentioned that some people use Drano to figure it out. He didn't tell me exactly how because he's afraid I'd try it and accidentally harm the baby. Why would I do that? I'm just curious how these people pull something like that off. ::shakes head:: My dad's crazy. :oD
Draino??? WTF! How are you supposed to use draino? The pendulum over your belly is supposed to be, I think, if it's a circle it's a girl and a line back and forth, it's a boy. I think. DOn't quote me on that.
I have NO IDEA how people use it to tell the baby's gender, but, supposedly, it works really well. It's just super dangerous. Even if I knew how to do it, I wouldn't.
