This continues to be utterly awesome. I LOVE the 'creepy' laundry room escapade (Aaron, you really need to trust Spencer. He's a trained FBI agent. He knows creepy when he sees it.) I love Spencer being all worried about Jack when Aaron just thinks that 10 days have been long enough. (Oh and "And people think I’m weird" is utterly perfect.) I love how Jack and Spencer are building a relationship with each other over chess and playing in the park. And I can't wait to see what sort of surprise Aaron has planned with his renovations. Such a great fic. I feel all happy now.

Thanks - I'm glad this made you happy! Aaron is an alpha male as well as someone who wants to fix people's problems, so it's always a balance for him of when to push Spencer and when to let him be and sometimes he doesn't quite get it right. But Spencer understands and loves him anyway :)

Great update! I love the whole laundry room description, Hotch should know by now to trust Spenser, that his concerns are usually justified :-)

Thanks! Believe it or not, the laundry room in this chapter was a slightly exaggerated version of the laundry room in a building I used to live in. It was just too "Criminal Minds"-sy for me not to work it into a story a some point :)
