getting too much line noise

im gonna have to get a laptop, i talked to paul an he said it would be my best bet, i could be mobile with samples an the occasional track i dont have on wax, an if i dont like the people maybe even be shady an put on a mix an just pretend im spinning, i dunno if i could do that, but yeah laptop it is, anyone know where i might find one cheap?

a laptop won't necessarily decrease your line noise issues; when i tried recording live sets w/ my vaio i could hear it writing to the HD in the recording... too much hardware in a small space.
