i've been a lot more unhappy this semester than usual. i am officially attributing this to hockey. last year our team was a TEAM. we were really close and we had a minimal amount of problems; most importantly team chemistry was never one of them. this year we have bickered and bitched from the beginning and there is entirely too much

I had the same thing last year with the ultimate team. Basically you get to decide if the whole thing is really worth it to you, which is a really shitty feeling.

I obviously decided to stick with it. I don't regret the decision at all but things aren't the same. All of my friends were there and I needed ultimate as my stress reliever. I'd recommend sticking it out.

ooh, i'm definitely still playing, that's for sure. if anything, at least i get to stay in shape and go to cool places (like lake placid, where we get to stay at the olympic training center!). it's just a whole hell of a lot harder. tonight two girls quit and we sat down as a team and talked for two hours about everything that's been going on and what we need to do to fix the situation. it's a step in the right direction but i'd be a fool to optimistically believe things are fixed unless everyone puts a lot of hard work and energy into it.
