He packed up all his work then headed out to the street to catch a taxi, telling the driver the address of the Kaplans' townhouse. It wasn't actually that long of a drive, about 20 minutes with last-minute Halloween traffic, and as the taxi parked, he handed the driver his fee (with a generous little extra) before he got out and headed for the door.
Teddy rang the doorbell once. Then again. ...And again.

He popped the toast into his mouth quickly before moving to the mirror in the hallway. He drew his hand across his body, his pajamas shifting into a new outfit. Frowning at it, doing it again, changing into something else with another blue flash. Decided that one was even worse and changed again, finally settling on something simple yet, good looking. Then when the door bell started ringing frantically he laughed, letting the other ring just a couple more times before moving to the door to wing it open.
"You're lucky my moms not here. You know she hates it when you do that." He teased moving aside so the other could come inside.
