did you watch the colbert report yesterday? (I think it was yesterday, I saw it today at 8:30pm, so I figure it's a rerun). wait. I mean thursday. because today's monday, and yesterday was sunday.

anyway, it was a special edition on DNA. perhaps your doppleganger is that one in ten billion person who magically has the same DNA as you.

I'm always curious as to what my doppleganger is doing. once, a co-worker of mine said he saw someone that looked just like me on a date at flowers in the u district. I'm curious as to what kind of person my doppleganger would be dating. and it her choice reflects on the sort of people that I'm interested in.

also, the sum of the two separate numbers times the percentage is equal to the total times the percentage.

let's say you have the following:

x = percentage
a = original number
a = b + c, where b and c are the two parts

xa = x(b+c) by substitution
therefore: xa = xb + xc by distribution (I think it's called distribution. it's been so long since I took my last math class.)
