It had been three days of working on Malfoy's team, and Harry had not blown anything up. He had not made any mistakes worthy of Malfoy's scorn, either. I got a new computer and completely forgot about checking my friends page here, so imagine my surprise when I followed another link to an LJ, checked my friends page and, voila, there is a new chapter. This chapter provided an excellent showing of what each of the students, but Draco particularly, are going through at this time. The nightmares must be horrific for any one of them who fought, but Draco really has seen some horrific things. He has lost someone as close to him as Harry has. I wonder where you will have had Goyle head off to? I could see him being quite despairing at this time. He could either condemn Draco more, or realize that Crabbe really was unsavable. I also loved the way you came up with for McGonagall to realize that Narcissa was being truthful about the need to cleanse dark magic from the building. We are quite ready to believe that a cat would sense more than a human! So now I wonder what affect this is going to have on her approach to the issue of dark and light ( ... )
