Oh snap! Pope better watch it! Savvy, political Sharon is almost as sexy as the Sharon that fucked Brenda Leigh stupid. Almost. I like Jonathan and his little heart to heart with Sharon was very poignant. I hope (hope hope hope) she takes heed.
So good to see a new chapter up! I really like that we're back to finding out who's after Brenda (yes, you read it here first, I'm not just in for the smut *g*) and seeing Sharon get back to her old HBIC self. This made for a very nice read. :)
I'm so glad I saved this chapter to read today once I got out of internship...what a nice incentive to be extra-efficient! I really enjoyed this chapter, primarily because I loved seeing Sharon hit rock bottom and then rise from the ashes and reclaim her place as HBIC. You've seriously created such a beautiful balance of vulnerable and tough, something that the actual writers on the show have been struggling to do. You should give them some pointers--no one writes Sharon Raydor as well as you do, and I say that from the completely objective vantage point of your numbero uno fan

I LOVE THIS CHAPTER!!! I love that she's officially hit bottom and basically woke herself up, and is just so very AWESOME. As invested as I am in the [attempted] development of the B/S relationship, I love this chapter THE MOST because you're showcasing that that's not the only thing to care about here - it's her dedication to her job, her sharp intelligence when on the job, her resilience in spite of her vulnerabilities, and her relationship with her kids. BECAUSE GOSHDARNIT - WHY ARE YOU NOT A WRITEr ON THE SHOW?! D:
Anyway, I was glad to see Sharon get up here, and handle everything that's basically been mishandled and falling apart since the first chapter - that - oh gods, all those little instances that have been littered throughout from the start is relevant - even more so now. :D
