Now, for the public performance. Even with the recent weight gain, he's still light enough that the lunch table will hold him, so he stands up on a vacant one and sets the instrument under his chin.]

[He's humming as he wanders into the cafeteria, stomach giving a loud growl as if to remind him that he's there and that it desperately needs to be filled.

He stops when he sees Sasuke, eyes widening a little. Oh shit--! What was he going to d-- Oh.

A small smile spread across his face when he realised he was playing the violin, and he wandered over, quietly tugging a chair out at the table he was stood on and dropping into it.]

[He lets the corner of his lip twitch up in a smile, but otherwise doesn't acknowledge Naruto as for the first time in what feels like years, his bow slides smoothly and easily across the strings in perfect clarity.

[He sees the smile-- and that's enough for him, so he just watches. He's listened to the song before, and although he's no expert, he knows Sasuke is playing it perfectly-- else he would have one of those funny looks on his face. It's funny... he looks so happy too.]

[And he feels happy, too. His meds are finally balanced, his relationships are finally settled, and he's finally gotten the hang of the piece that put him in the hospital in the first place.

[ Puts his headphones back in place and shuffles the song on his music player, turning around and feeling the beat on this next track, expression breaking into a grin~ Andddd he breaks into song again: ]

[He broke into a wide grin as he dropped down off Shisui's back, throwing his arms up above his head.]

[The grin falls away, like his arms which drop to his sides - and he blinks rapidly as Shisui winks and him-- and moves closer. He wasn't stupid, and the words seeped into his brain easily, leaving him with cheeks that turned a slightly pink colour.]
