okay i have solved your problems. Remember when i went to Alaska for three months? yeah well i made over $8,000 as a tour guide. I even switched jobs halfway through the summer. At my first i literally wore a corsette and flirted with old men and then helped them pan for gold. You could red onion saloon, you dress up in a corsette and look hot and hang out in the bar and act sexy. It's really easy, great tips and a lot of money. If you could fins some people to go with you. I am serious check out The red onion saloon and Liarsville in Skagway Alaska. It so much money and after the cruise ships leave everyone hangs out in this small local town. I promise you would love it, especially if you brought people with you. Its such good money

that sounds amazing but didn't you drive a bus? i guess i could get my license. i also am just getting settled into portland. but i guess portland will always be here. i wonder if i have any friends dedicated enough to go to alaska with me. we could hang out with sarah palin.

I drove a bus for my second job. The red onion or Liarsville doesnt require that and they provide housing. It would only be for the summer and you would make bank. Its a tiny tiny tiny town but all the locals are very "bad ass" and accepting. One of my favorite city council members is a lesbian and lives with her g/f. Alaska was SO different than i expected and so much better. Everyone hangs out at the bars and does bon fires and drinks ALOT. hardly anyone drives a car, but they all ride bikes. Its really therapautic to get away from it all. The locals become like family. There are tons of different jobs but the whole point of skagway is that it is a port for cruise ships and all they do is tourism. i wrote JTT a letter once when i was like 8 or 9 or 17 or something. hahahha
i got a generic JTT fanclub postcard back. it was pinned to my bulletin board forever.
