i think it speaks more of our competitive nature and the extent to which we would show our displeasure at losing.

but yes, singaporeans are an odd lot, what with double standards and all.

i think you just wrote a very good commentary piece which would be welcome when people discuss chelsea f.c.. those no good bums would win at any cost (e.g. boring footy, diving-and-handballing-bastard-strikers, buying players for ridiculous sums of $$ then turning them into benchwarmers), and that's no good for the league. no true gentlemen there.

i won't claim that the teams (milan and man utd) i support are complete angels, but at least they play positively, don't dive around too much anymore (look at cristiano ronaldo!), and never attempt to get opposing players sent off. there's class there, and in other places, but none at the top of the premiership right now. :P
