Spain has a complex. It sleeps better at night thinking it's not actually on the periphery of the European continent. "Nooo," they would say, "that's Portugal!" They are in a serious case of denial, but on the upswing it allows for the sun to come up late and stay up late; thus, they have managed for the sun to also be on "Spanish time." This all being said, I seriously miss that country. Oh Ireland being cold and dark at 4 p.m. ... it's a good time.
