Well, I thought it was just going to lots of special effects and not really an amazing movie. I actually - after seeing it - think it was a beautiful movie. Peter Jackson focused on Kong's emotions and what he was going through and his relationship with Ann. Also, back in 1933 the acting wasn't really all that great, so it was a lot better in this version. Andy Serkis is always great. But I'm not saying that this remake is better than the original. They are too different things.
