Lately, life had fallen into the same old routine that was pretty much the story of his life. Not that he minded routine; order in the world made him comfortable and passed the days easily, but it also left him bored. Ollie looked over the papers in his hand with a mild sense of alarm. For some reason, his passport had been taken away, and he wasn't allowed to cross the border anymore.

Nothing like causing a tiny internation incident, but, since he rather liked weekend trips North. Ollie decided to paddle boat his way through all the red tape and get his passport back. He just needs some help on the Canadian side of things.

Ollie knocks on the impressive looking doors and really hopes someone works during office hours.

Jumping up at the knock, Ren's chair topples back onto the floor. It takes a torn second to actually stop and right it again - whoever it is won't leave that quickly, he tells himself.

He hurries over to the door on the balls of his feet and then takes another second to try to fit on the calm, professional front and welcoming smile before opening the door. At least he manages the smile.

Ollie isn't a short guy, but he's not the tallest either. So when he blinks and looks up, the slightly worried look turns into a smile. "Woah. They must have somthing in the water."

He peeks around the guy and then looks back. "Look, man. I hope I'm in the right place. This is Canada, right?"

The comment about the water completely goes over his head, although he had suspected as much - it just didn't taste as nice as it did back in Alberta.

Beaming, he steps back to allow the man to enter. "It is indeed, sir. How may I be of assistance?"
