Reeve's getting there... and will be growing into more of the man we all know and love. Veld is going to be part of that process - for better and for worse, of course.

Well it's not a full wing loooool cos that would be huge (hence using "" the first time I refer to "wing") just a bone with some meat on it - like a chicken wing. ^_^ a part of a full choco-wing. :D

A while back, I was busy looking for Reeve fics and stumbled upon this. Needless to say, I was very impressed.

Your fic has an effortless flow to it. Everything seems to have a natural flow to it. Veld, as you characterize him, has a rather fatherly feeling to him but a rather offbeat one at that. You get the sense that he uses that feeling to make people squirm and enjoys it at that.

I find myself not entirely sure whether he arranged the meeting with Reeve or if it truly was an accident and the engineer caught his attention. One way or other, for better or for worse, Reeve interested him.

I wanted to say that your interpretation of Veld had an influence on how I write the character in one the fics I'm writing. (Admittedly, he doesn't do very much in my fic.)

Awesome fanfic.

Wow. This has to be the nicest compliment about my writing that I've ever received! Thank you, so much! :o

That is exactly the direction I was trying to go with Veld. I always figured he would be one hell of a badass - the archetype of the Turks has gotta be - but, then, he is a father after all ^_^ I always get the impression he is fiercely protective of his 'kids', even when it's entertaining to mess with their heads a little. :P

As soon as I read a BC translation with the point that Reeve and Veld go way back, I was hooked! I've loved the concept of exploring their histories ever since. In fact, you might have encouraged me to take the story up again <3 ( ... )
