I really liked this. It was a nice look into Annabeth's character, and holiday fic as well! Great combo.

Poor Annabeth, I just wanted to hug her! I like how you show what normalcy is at camp, lol.

It doesn’t change the fact that it’s Christmas Day and yet no one seems to care or notice. It doesn’t change the fact that Percy isn’t here.

So lovely and sad, excellent job!

One thing that's kind of bugging me in the other *cough*DC*cough* fandoms is that some of my favorite characters are being hated on for angsting so much. Considering what a large part of the entertainment it is, it's ridiculous. Percy jackson fans, as a general rule, seem to have a lot more respect for Annabeth's pain, not thinking less of her for missing him so much. She's a strong character and she loves strongly. Not just her boyfriend, but her camp, so she'll always try to do well by them and they, in turn will respect her feelings. I feel you caught that well.

I mainly lurk in PJO, but yeah, from fan fic, there seems to be a wide spread of pairings, with and without angst, and there's no pairing or genre that gets hated on so much. Unlike some DC ones I can think of...

Thanks! I felt so bad for Annabeth at the end of TLH. I'm glad I managed to capture some of her pain.
