That alien was gone. It only topped off on his "Ticked Off" list at the moment. There was no trail of trickling blood trailing off somewhere; no staggering figure in the distance; nothing. He growled under his breath, and he turned away from the wolf, stalking back and forth. He was ready to crush the little device in his hand. That...that egotistical...bitch!

He apologized for nothing of course. He didn't know who the hell this person thought she was, but he wasn't gonna hold back if he ever ran into her, whoever she was. ...At least...he was sure it was a girl. Pretty sure. But despite genders, he wasn't going to discriminate. He didn't even know what the hell they were on about, him being "fictional". Dammit, he was real.Again...he was unnerved by the strange disappearance of Vakarian. The alien couldn't get far on his feet. No way, no how. He hunched his shoulders, squeezing the phone, releasing and squeezing it again. It creaked under his left hand. He was tired of this and it was barely two hours in of whatever "this" was. He ( ... )

As with all of the most important events in her life, this one had started with a car crash. A car crash that he foolishly led her to consider walking through Central Park to visit her Dad at work, instead of taking the bus like any sane newcomer to the city would have.

Which is how she found herself wandering through the middle of nowhere, down at path that seeming lead deeper to nowhere, playing with her new cellphone and arguing with some crazed otaku who claimed he was Edward Elric.

Yeah, right. Like that was true.

Cursing under her breath, she didn't notice the statue (or the figures beside it) until she nearly bumped into one of them. Looking up, for a moment Lauren felt vaguely humbled by the irony of it all. The words escaped before she could think them through.

"What the heck is an Edward Elric cosplayer doing in the middle of Central Park?"

His gaze snapped forth towards the voice. He was more tuned towards someone saying his name. At first, he thought it was Lupin, or perhaps the Colonel. But it someone else when he turned to face them. She was staring at him, almost with faint traces of skepticism.

"You got a problem with me?" He growled. He was still sore from whoever the "phone-person" was. Still angry, still sore and quite ready to punch anyone, even a supierior officer of an army he was no longer a part of: Namely Roy Mustang, but he didn't want to get into fistfights with the man, nor explain why alchemy isn't going to work for either of them. It'd be satisfying to see him helpless without it, but now wasn't the time to gloat. Maybe later.

Lupin was hovering close by, still covered in the alien's blue blood, her scarves torn for nothing, necklaces in a disarray, brows knit together in concern. She looked at him, then to the young woman, fiddling with her own phone. He ignored the wolf and continued to glare at the young woman.

Lauren glared right back. What was with this guy? "I apologize, I wasn't looking where I was going, and-"

She happened to notice the wolf nearby, and suddenly realized something. Looking back and forth between Lupin and Edward, her eyes widened. "You're the girl in those drawn icons online...they you must be that weird guy who claimed to be Ed."

Ironhide was gone. The nanoklik the gruff weapon's specialist disappeared off his grid, Bumblebee's shocks locked into a stiff position. He ran diagnostics of the area, trying to detect the presence of any other Cybertronians in the area. There were none and he ran then again ( ... )

Hisoka was trying his best not to panic, and stay calm. Easier said than done, when a huge, gorilla-like foot came down from the stay and crushed the pavement inches from where he'd been standing, leaving a gaping hole. Metal from crushed cars and broken glass flew every which way, and he couldn't hold back a hiss of pain when felt some of it dig into his side.

And then something very strange happened. As he watched incredulously, the yellow car he'd seen earlier backed up next to him. The door swung open, revealing an empty driver's seat. Hisoka just stared; where had the driver...?

"No way, this is just too weird." He murmured, dazed and distantly wondering where Allen was at the moment.

A violent string of cursewords, bizarrely lyrics from a pop song he'd heard on the radio before, played. And it was then that he knew he had to get in.

"Please don't kill me." He whispered, carefully climbing into the car...

As soon as Hisoka was in, Bumblebee tore out of Broadway, swerving past halted cars and trucks with ease. He fluidly flew out of the streets, although in retrospect, he found it unnerving when people started crowding the streets, running upon scared legs, frightened bursts of adrenaline and blocking the roads. His sensors indicated that whoever had been in Hisoka's car--now completely destroyed--was on the run, somewhere in the streets somewhere. He hoped.

He'd lost track as soon as the converging of bodies multiplied hundredfold. The quivering form in his chassis, however, was reading loud and clear on his sensors. Bob Marley popped up on the radio. "Don't worry; be happy!"Hisoka was a valuable asset. He had information, and quite possibly, connections to whomever was pulling the strings. He was unconvinced it was Decepticons; they preferred the destruction of organics instead of the willingness of working alongside them. A hatred borne before even the war for the Allspark, thanks for the Quintessons ( ... )

Hisoka yeaped as the car took off like a shot, clouching the door for all he was worth. The world was a cacophony of sound and colour, people crowded together and running for their lives as the car (for indeed Hisoka had realized by now the car was running by itself) sped through in between whatever gaps he could find, persuing the large, hairy gorilla headed started towards Central Park.

And to think, only a few hours ago he'd been worried about paying the rent. Now, he'd just be lucky if he had a home to pay rent for.

He hadn't had much time to fiddle with the device in his hand and even if he had, he was still concerned over the situation. He was...in another world. The prospect of it was cool, sure enough, but he was alone. He had no squadron with him, not even his co-pilot. And, whenever he tried to leave the city permiters, he was...forced back, as if by some barrier. It unnerved him, to say the least. But, Aerrow as persistant ( ... )

Allen wasn't having a good day. In the course of a couple of hours, he'd nearly been hit by a car, learned he'd been kidnapped from his time period, forced to impose on a nice man and max him out on his insurance...

And now this. THIS took the cake.

A casual glance to the sky had revealed a large foot descending directly over Hisoka's car. Quickly, Allen invoked his innocence and sliced through the door, a task made difficult by the restricted space. He barely had time to catch his breath as he stumbled out of the car, hearing a loud metallic CRUNCH behind him. Looking back, he saw the twisted wreck of what had been a blue sedan ( ... )

Bumblebee had watched the daring rescue and after confirming the human on the flying bike--he was positive that Earth's technology was nowhere near that advancement of flying vehicles--he kept his pace even. The bike soon leveled its flight path to follow him and he allowed for it ( ... )

Dammit as much as he disliked the girl, he knew--repeatedly, he told himself--that he couldn't allow that monster to run loose and harm her. Edward hadn't realized Roy was already tugging his gloves on until he heard the sharp snap of the man's fingers. He whirled around on him, mouth gaping to yell at him that alchemy didn't work.

It can't work in this world; he's tried a thousandfold to get it to work and only once did it do so. And that had been the use of Envy to open the Gate between his world and this one.

The large BOOM behind him, however, made him pivot once more and he stared, slack jawed.

Alchemy.

Then he moved forward, already clapping his hands together. He didn't understand this situation as much as he wished he could... But the useage of alchemy--in this world, no doubt!--was enough for now. The familiar energy coursed through him, that same energy having been muted, cut off from him and he released it. Edward couldn't help but feel that old spark of his teenage years roil through him. He remembered and missed ( ... )

"Yeah, I have one." Allen said, fiddling with his phone, his thoughts running a mile a minute. "I'll provide a distraction, the others will go for the legs. I sent a message to the girl to tell them. Are you and the giant robot willing to help-...wait?! Hisoka?!"

Allen blinked, his serious attitude momentarily faltering as he saw the familiar Asian man, who was swaying and looked like he was about to be violently sick.
