There have been three times this year so far that Mr. Canaan (Chippewa's Principal) has come on the PA to announce a death and hold a moment of silence. 3 deaths within the first 4 weeks of school. Death always seems to remind us of the good and the bad. We seem to contemplate life more when someone we know dies.

I wanted to just shout two years ago when Justin died and everyone was wondering what the purpose of life was. I wanted to let them know that there was a point... but I didn't and I regret it.

Talk to those about who you can... make something good come out a bad situation.
