As we go on
We remember
All the times we've
Had together
And as our lives change
From whatever
We will still be
Friends forever
Graduation is soon.
Senior tribute 2008.
DANIELLE ELIZABETH MALOY.
I can't possibly tell you how much you've impacted my life within the confines of a web page. Since the moment I met you in 7th grade, my stand-in big sister in the scary world of Advanced Women's Chorus, we had an instant connection and I knew that you would always be a huge part of my life. You helped me grow and find myself through middle school and always supported me in high school, and it's incredible how much of my personal development has been a result of your influence. Whether I was dealing with an audition, joining newspaper or breaking up with a guy, you've always been by my side to provide the utmost guidance and advice and your opinion has usually been the one that mattered most to me. I've told you countless times since we met that you've always been my hero, and you still are. No matter where you go, I'll always consider you my big sister, and I hope that we never lose touch. Thank you so much for an incredible five years, and I wish you the best in the world. You deserve it. Small & Tall. I love you more than life.
EMMA BRAMER.
I'm so happy we discovered each other this year as personality twins - from opinions on everything from war to guys to weed to similar grammatical pet peeves to equally awkward senses of humor, we are beautifully alike, and it's strengthened our bond a lot this year. Pei Wei Wednesday with you is always the high point of my week, and I'm incredibly grateful to have you in my life. I always learn from conversations with you and you've been a huge role model for me this year. Thank you for everything; standing up for me when the rest of staff hated me, telling me who not to lose my virginity to, laughing at ridiculous fortune cookies with me, and everything in between. I love you dearly.
BIANCA ROSEN SIEGEL.
Last year was rocky, but this year we definitely bonded over deadlines, threats from killers and various parties, and I'm so glad we had one good year together. You've taught me so much in and out of school, and though I don't always agree with everything I hear about, I still think you're an amazing person. I hope Virginia is amazing, and don't forget about your little staff back in Florida. Love you Mama.
MICHAEL SPROUSE.
I sometimes forget you have a first name. You will always be Sprouse to me. You were an incredible help to me this year, from Photoshop help to tips on dealing with Naaktgeboren to random advice on dealing with my life, and I'm so glad you became one of my best friends through newspaper, lunch and text conversations. You're a brilliant and talented kid, and FSPA and newspaper won't be the same without you.
GABY LOPEZ.
I admire you so much. You're a beautiful, talented and strong young woman, and you don't take shit from anybody. You've been a constantly supportive force this year and you know how to keep your cool under pressure, and I've learned a lot about how to be a good editor from you. I hope I still get to see you some after you graduate, because you're amazing.
DANIEL TROYER.
You have both hurt me and helped me in so many ways this year, and I'm a completely different person after meeting you. We don't exactly function well as a couple and apparently not as friends either, but getting to know you this year has been a unique and eye-opening experience. I truly hope we can continue this brilliantly strange friendship even though things have been rocky lately, because conversations with you make me feel like a genius and an idiot at the same time, and I love the high. I hope you eventually figure out who you are, and you develop the confidence to accept it. I know you can, and I'll help you along the way if you need it. I love you.
STEPHEN ANTONELLI.
You are my favorite. I can talk to you about pretty much anything and you won't judge me for it, and you're so much fun to be around. It's been an amazing few years, especially last summer, and I'm so thankful to have you in my life even though I don't see you often anymore. I love you!
CHELSEY STRAWBRIDGE.
All I can say is that I want to be just like you. You're more talented than anyone I know, but also astoundingly smart, well-rounded, humble and loyal to your friends and family. The last few years of Gulf Coast with you have been absolutely amazing, and I'll never forget the amazing influence you had on me.
MANDY TRAYLOR.
Vocal twin! You're amazing. Your theory skills are second to none, and singing next to you for two years has been an educational as well as a crazy fun experience. Gulf Coast will not be the same without you, and I hope we keep in touch.
MERRITT RODRIGUEZ.
You're an amazing person. On the days I didn't feel like going to Gulf Coast, knowing that we would be clowning around in the back made it worthwhile. I thoroughly enjoyed holding hands with you throughout rehearsals and even at the concert, and convincing everyone we were lesbians in New York (and everywhere else...) was crazy fun. Thank you so much for always putting a smile on my face.
MEGAN GACKLE.
Sometimes I'm not sure what to think about the messes you get yourself into, but I know that you mean well (for the most part) and you really are a good person. You've been so much fun to hang out with at rehearsals and auditions for the last few years, and in some strange way, you've taught me a lot about music and life. I hope I get to see you some after you graduate because I really will miss you next year, and I know you'll succeed in whatever you try for.
JOCELYN BULLINGTON.
My car buddy. Our friendship started with two parking spaces, but during this year we've become a lot closer, and next year is going to be quite sad without you beasting those alto notes over everyone. You're so easy to talk to and always there if I need a random joke to make me smile, and I'm honored to be your friend. Love you boo.
I miss you guys already.
I love you all.
Hey oh-nine; we're next.
