I did a dumb thing. I actually don't even know how I did it. I was logged in as in_my_shadow, but I was checking my email and responding to posts from my other journal. Somehow one of them, just one of them turned up as in_my_shadow in a comment in THE ONE journal it would really bother me for it to be in.
Ahhh... that's very strange though. I was always under the impression that it didn't matter who you were loggen in as, but from where the email was coming from that would determine the user name. If that made since...
Regardless. Ouch. I understand completely. I hope this doesn't cause any stress for you. And I am glad you found out soon enough.
There aren't a whole lot of entries here yet but I have a friend who can make all past entries friends only without having to change them all by hand, just let me know if you're interested.
I feel like we should be meeting behind a trash dumpster... it's kind of like illigeal LJ code selling :)
I also don't know how it happened because all of my other comments came up as they were supposed to. Only that one showed as in_my_shadow, and of course I panicked and immediately made almost every post friends only.
No.. they are. but any time you respong to one it un screens it. It's anoying and I deal with it both here and simply here. But you just have to re screen them after you reply. I tend to ignore them for a little while unless it's something I don't want anyone to read.
*This is the other fun thing about screened comments. Once they're screened, the person responding no longer has the ability to respond in email, or to that comment. So you get lots of random comments like this that are not attached to the thread anymore :) Yeah LJ fun :)
Brad's much too rational. It makes me crazy half the time. But I've told him about my day dreams before. So this one isn't much of a surprise.
He makes fun of me more for Paul, the gay hair stylist that I talk to in the car. (Yes, I still have imaginary friends... and no, I haven't found any medication yet.)
