Your group show at Thinkspace last year was actually where I first saw your artwork. My friend dragged me there that night and I've never been gladder. I'll definitely be trying to make it out there this Friday. :)

I am a very begguiner, and know nothing. Can i ask how was it for you the first time you did an exhibition?

I am maybe too curious.

i think the first time was a group show, through a friend of mine.
second time was a bigger group show, i was invited through a gallery owner that saw my works on line.
i think i used to post on fecalface.com user gallery? or artdorks.com...
it snowballed after that.

i suggest finding artist community websites and posting your works there. :)

any prints? ytridlrig August 9 2008, 18:20:54 UTC
I just love your stuff and these new ones are GREAT!!! I particularly like 'Like A River' and 'Until The Day', though I think 'Torn' and 'Restless' are especially awesome as well. Almost glad that I couldn't afford any of them, since choosing only one would be impossible!!!! As for the tea-stained pieces, 'Perchance' would no doubt be my pick. Though any and all of them would make me very happy indeed! Any possibility of prints in the near future for any of these new ones, for those of us who can't afford an OG?

I second the thought regarding a future print for "Until the Day" or "The Other Side". But then I told you that in a recent email and you know I am a little biased. I love your recent work. You just keep getting better and better as an artist :)

Well, new prints around Christmas would be great. I must say I didn't realize all those were still available. Now, the mini print set shouldn't really count ;) Marla is not really my thing. I enjoyed the movie fight club, but I didn't like the Marla character or the actress *gasp*. Sorry, to each is own on that one I guess. I also don't think "hearbeats" was the most beloved possible print in that series. Obviously, some preople truly love it. I personally think "Lovely Day" is amazing and am proud to own it. I can't believe this print hasn't sold out. For those of you that haven't pulled the trigger on it, between Stella's artwork and Gallery 1988's assistance in printing, it is so much more beautiful in person than on the internet. The paper and print quality is top notch. I guess if you are having a problem moving the editions of 150, maybe you should push them back again to 100 or even 50 again. Because in the long run if that means that you won't be able to put out more prints due to your older works not selling out, well, I ( ... )
