Okay. Still processing the episode. It wasn't as painful as I feared. It was two extreme possible futures. I didn't get emotionally caught up in either future because I know they weren't real. And I know Sandra Oh is leaving.

My strongest reaction was wanting to vomit when it was implied Cristina was marrying Shane. My second strongest reaction that drunk and rumpled Owen in t-shirt and jeans is incredibly hot.

I've also been thinking that part of why Cristina will leave is so Owen can really move on and have a baby. So glad that he didn't cheat in the alcoholic future. And it was sad that Cristina bonded more with the ugly dog than her son.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I appreciate hearing that people still read my writing. I love Leah's writing, it would be awesome of her Mia could play with my Parentverse kids.

What was shown last night was just a mess. Kevin and Sandra acted the hell out of it, but the concepts were ... a mess.

Just a brief note to let you know I hardly comment any more but I love your stories and they are the true Cristina/Owen stories for me. Period :)

I know I've disappeared from this group for the most part and the fandom as a whole as I think Shonda Rhimes should be writing cartoons and not semi-dramatic television. I finally saw this episode however and I wanted to add a wholehearted YES to those who thought this was silly and pointless. Why put viewers through all the what-ifs when everyone and their ugly dog (agreed) knows that Sandra Oh is leaving so honestly who gives a tinker's damn about alternate realities? Sandra and Kevin were amazing with what they had to work with. In the end I wanted to throw a heavy brick through my screen because Meredith, as usual, was the foil to even a small, honest moment between Cris and Owen.

After this I can finally, completely wash my hands of this train wreck that was such a beautiful, passionate love story. Kudos to the fine writers who still post here. At least Cris and Owen will live on in someone's universe.
