Cat Rescue!

I just got all heroic and rescued the downstairs cat from impending hypothermia and severe break-my-heart cuteness.

It was stuck on the downstairs balconey, so I put on a slinky fireman's outfit, broke out the shiny new extendo-ladder(tm), climbed up there in harrowing -15 degree weather and scooped up its furry shivering ass.

Neighbors are nowhere

Good thing is that I've spoke to my landlord, and he's understanding of my discomfort here. He's told me that the apartment below me is going to available in the spring, and depending on the space, I may just go for that.
