I watched Gus Van Sant's Last Days in the cable car last night. It was a waste of money and time. I liked only two parts in the movie, and his attempt to have artsy scenes didn't work out too well. unless, of course you think staring at leaves for 2-3 minutes is artsy ( Read more... )

Haha, there are innocent youth all over America who are drooling over the utter profoundness of staring at leaves. I mean, have you ever looked at a leaf? Deep, yo.

I need to watch more indie film. Seen anything good lately?

yeah, i have a bunch listed under my myspace.
they're not all indie, but you may like some of them.
i watched Saving Face a week or two ago. It was better than i expected, however im not sure if you would find it as funny as i did.

I liked Elephant but I found it really hard to sit through Last Days. I was tempted to leave before the end of the movie.
And what happened to Asia Argento's character? She just vanished.
That movie was horrible.

exactly. i was tempted to leave troughout the movie, but i was hoping it would get better, however, it never did, and Asia Argento's character did, in fact dissapear.

i beg to differ. psycho was his worst. i thought elephant was great. my favorite gus van sant film is still my own private idaho though. i just spent like $50 on the dvd too...i love it that much.
