wine-poached pears

i’m s’posed to give my 2023 and 2024 some thought now that i have a wee bit more brain space being alone in hk instead of busy with everyone in sg. but i’m still tired and lazy, so see how. i just wanna say that this year one of my resolutions (the only one i’ve come up with so far) is that i hope to be able to make poached pears in red wine once.

Looking at the ingredients like star anise, cinnamon & cloves...you can make lor bak, lol!
