Yoochun knew that Jaejoong had a thing for being needed. The oldest wasn’t teased ‘umma’ for nothing. Jaejoong was at his happiest when he knows that he is helping. Yoochun stared at the beds in the room he shared with Jaejoong. The sheets were smooth, the pillows fluffed. Yoochun figured that one of the reasons why Jaejoong roomed with him was because Yoochun was such a lazy ass. Jaejoong knows that Yoochun needs more than a little nagging sometimes, so Jaejoong drove the younger man crazy with all that reminding.
But what Yoochun liked best about Jaejoong was that he was always always there; to laugh with Yoochun, to listen to Yoochun’s whining, to comfort Yoochun when he’s more than a little homesick.
Yoochun stared at Jaejoong’s empty bed. He knew that Jaejoong was out with Yesung and Heechul and Donghae and Yunho - again.
And for the first time in a long time, Yoochun wondered what it felt like to once again be needed by his best friend.
