She knew--she knew the moment her Senpai left, she'd be helpless. She'd feel alone again; misunderstood, even with the rest of the team.

It was careless of her to keep running after him to say goodbye....

There was a surge of energy--as if some sort of flashing through her entire mind--and she blacked out. The next thing she remembered was being inside the local hospital at Inaba, IVs, heart monitors, and pulse checkers--the works--all hooked up to her. Her hair was a mess, and she felt... groggy. Weighed down, somehow, as if by some extra force, causing gravity to be heavier. The others had visited her earlier in the day while she was sleeping, and had all but gone. Her head ached; her chest hurt, it was difficult to think properly.

What had she been doing...? How had she ended up here...?

After a moment, Naoto managed to sit up, a hand brushing some hair out of her eyes. She noticed a bandage on her head, and frowned deeply--she had injured herself? That was uncharacteristically careless of her. Looking from one side to the other, she promptly noticed a young man on the opposite end of the hospital room. It was quiet inside, and she hadn't even noticed his being there.

It was dark out--moonlight seeped in through the window, providing the only illumination in the room--and he appeared to be glancing outside the Hospital room window. At first, she wasn't sure what there was to look at, until she saw the full moon. At first glance, it was nothing out of the ordinary, to be sure, but the scene far below them was another story entirely....

For starters, the sky was green. That, she could deal with. It must have been the injury, after all. The moon itself was a sickening shade she'd never seen before... coffins filled the streets, and black, lurking monsters crawled about. Nothing electronic was on; no lights shone. If this was her injury, it was a very good hallucination. It was frightening to see this... it was... new. The blood, the sky--all of it was different than just fog and Shadows.

Naoto finally got around to pulling herself upwards and onto her feet, slowly moving over toward the boy, still hooked up to the IV and tube attached to her on the rack. It appeared that he had noticed her, having finally turned to face her.
