I love this version too! (Germans, you need an unblocker to see it) So interesting to see the singers. And I didn't know the German version and the Dutch version were sung by the same person.

I think I've watched every available version of this song and i've watched that one so many times but still couldn't help watching it again XD I LOVE IT SO MUCH and somehow it always brings tears to my eyes lol

Ever since I watched the "Honest Trailer" for Frozen I always hear "Get it out, get it out - get it out of my head... get it out, get it out - I'll sing anything else instead!". Because... yeah.
Also, I still fail to see why this film is so successful. Blatant plot holes aside - the whole 'girl power' element of this song eludes me... If she is so emancipated why does she make herself wear high heels and a slit in her dress up to her hips?! *sigh*
Funny though: All the little girls under ten who SO identify with her, singing her song. Because "be the good girl they tell you to be" is SO terribly oppressive when you're a kid. Hahahaha! :D

When I watched the awards I thought what is wrong with Travolta? Is he drunk? That was before he butchered Idina Menzels name.

Hahaha! I don't care for him much, so I tuned him out for most of his speech except for the double take I had to do when he came up with that one. And sure enough before the Awards were over Adele Dazeem already had her first (of by now many) very own Twitter account. ;p
By now that name has taken on its own short hand meaning for botching something completely. In three (!) of the four Paley Fest panels I attended (Veronica Mars, How I met your Mother and Mad Men) it came up in conversation. (Which was extra funny because Paley fest this year took place in the Dolby theater, the same one where Travolta initially made his blunder.) I wouldn't even be surprised if as that short-hand meaning it became one of the new pop culture referential words introduced into the dictionary, such as recently "app" or "selfie".

When I heard the german version of "let it go" for the first time I thought that the singer is not a native german speaker / singer. something about her german is slightly off. I had guessed that she could be Dutch.
