The Third Arcanum
Souji has been in Mayfield for almost two months now. He has grown accustomed to the pace of the town and before he knew it there was a sudden influx of his friends into this town. There was a brief period when he felt down and wanted to mope around, but there's been too much inaction since coming here.
Souji picks himself up quickly. There's too much at stake for him to have a self-pity party or wonder about the horrors that him and his friends have yet to face. He needs his friends more than ever now, probably more than they've needed their leader, and Souji'll be damned if he lets that slip by. He uses this renewed sense of urgency to refocus on the priorities most pressing to him.

Early Morning
[ Good morning, residents and neighbors of 1251 Williams Road or anyone passing by. Souji is pushing Aaron's go-kart out from the garage. He's giving it a quick once over, then he's running back into the house, appearing moments later with a set of keys in hand. He unlocks the driver side door to the real car, not-real Papa Warren's car and sticks his head inside. He looks around in the cabin and pops his head back out, satisfied and closing the door. He approaches the go-kart again and closes his eyes, taking silent but deep breaths--a calming exercise he's learned to help him manage stressful moments. ]

[ It sounds like there's a parade of cars right outside 339 Brady Lane! If you look outside, you'll see just that. Souji is stepping out of a go-kart and there is a car parked on the front yard. Souji has a long cardboard tube sealed and hanging from his shoulder. He is looking for this forge that Hiccup was talking about! ]

Lunchtime
[ Souji is at the archery range. He is in his boyscout uniform and with a bow in hand, he's shooting arrows. Judging from where most of his arrows are landing, he's a beginner at it. He's making it work, getting most arrows on the target at least, but it's easy to tell even if one isn't proficient with archery that he's not very good at it.
After shooting a few more, he sets the bow down, picks up a clipboard and starts writing a few things.
There is a great smell wafting from a paper sack sitting on one of the benches behind him. It's lunch time, but Souji isn't really paying attention to it now. ]

[ Now this is something Souji is at least somewhat comfortable with. He is at the driving range with a rented set of clubs from the rec center next to him. He's hitting golf balls from a stall with a driver. Feel free to bug him why there's a longbow and a quiver full of arrows hanging off of the golf club bag. ]
